What is cbd?
Cannabidiol (CBD) is a naturally occurring compound found in the resinous flower of cannabis, a plant with a rich history as a medicine going back thousands of years. Today, the therapeutic properties of CBD are being tested and confirmed by scientists and doctors around the world. A safe, non-addictive substance, CBD is one of more than a hundred “phytocannabinoids,” which are unique to cannabis and endow the plant with its robust therapeutic profile.

CBD IS NOT MARIJUANA.
CBD Texas Law: Residents of Texas are free to purchase CBD oil and other CBD products which are available in stores and online. In 2014, the federal government passed the Farm Bill allowing all states to cultivate and study industrial hemp. Industrial hemp is a variety of hemp, also known as Cannabis Sativa L. CBD is extracted from the industrial hemp plant.
As long as a CBD product is derived from legally-grown ‘industrial’ hemp and contains less than 0.3% THC, then it is legal in Texas and all 50 states.
Other strains of hemp contain greater concentrations of THC, which is the chemical in marijuana that causes the user to “get high” or have psychodelic experiences. CBD DOES NOT cause the user to get high.
By tapping into how we function biologically on a deep level, CBD can provide relief for chronic pain, anxiety, inflammation, depression and many other conditions.
